Was macht man als Küfer/in EFZ?
Als Küfer/in EFZ stellst du Holzfässer und andere Holzbehälter her und hältst sie instand.
- Holz auswählen, zuschneiden und Dauben (Fassbretter) vorbereiten
- Fässer, Bottiche und Zuber zusammenbauen, biegen und mit Reifen fixieren
- Fässer innen ausbrennen bzw. toasten und abdichten
- Reparaturen und Unterhalt an gebrauchten Fässern ausführen (z.B. Reifen ersetzen, Lecks beheben)
- Oberflächen behandeln, Qualität prüfen und Produkte für Kundschaft bereitstellen

- Sorgfältige, genaue Arbeitsweise und Qualitätsbewusstsein
- Körperliche Belastbarkeit sowie Teamfähigkeit

Nach der Lehre als Küfer/in EFZ kannst du dich zum Beispiel so weiterbilden:
- Berufsprüfung (BP): z.B. Werkstattchef/in, Produktionsleiter/in (je nach Angebot/Branche)
