Als Keramiker/in EFZ stellst du Gebrauchs- und Kunstobjekte aus Ton und Keramik her und veredelst sie.
- Tonmassen vorbereiten, kneten und aufbereiten
- Formen von Objekten von Hand, an der Drehscheibe oder mit Giess- und Pressverfahren
- Modelle, Formen und Schablonen herstellen und einsetzen
- Werkstücke trocknen, nachbearbeiten und brennen (Schruehbrand, Glätt- und Glasurbrand)
- Oberflächen gestalten: Engoben, Glasuren, Dekore, Bemalungen und Strukturen
- Qualität kontrollieren, Fehlstellen korrigieren und Ausschuss beurteilen
- Maschinen, Oefen und Werkzeuge bedienen, reinigen und warten
- Aufträge planen, Materialbedarf berechnen und Arbeiten dokumentieren
Welche Voraussetzungen & Anforderungen muss ich für Keramiker/in EFZ erfüllen?
Diese Voraussetzungen und Anforderungen helfen dir in der Lehre als Keramiker/in EFZ:
- Abschluss der obligatorischen Schule (Sekundarstufe I)
- Gute Leistungen in Werken/Gestalten, Mathematik und Naturkunde/Physik (z.B. für Masse, Mischverhältnisse und Brennprozesse)
- Handwerkliches Geschick und sehr feine Fingerfertigkeit
- Gutes Form- und Farbempfinden sowie Sinn für Ästhetik
- Geduld, Sorgfalt und Ausdauer (Trocknungs- und Brennzeiten, präzises Arbeiten)
- Vorstellungsvermögen und Kreativität
- Selbstständige Arbeitsweise und Zuverlässigkeit
- Körperliche Belastbarkeit (z.B. Stehen, Heben von Material) und Sicherheitsbewusstsein
