Als Mechanikpraktiker/in EBA arbeitest du in der industriellen Fertigung und unterstuetzt beim Herstellen und Bearbeiten von Metallteilen.
- Bauteile und Werkstuecke nach Vorgaben fertigen und bearbeiten (z.B. bohren, saegen, feilen, schleifen)
- Maschinen und Anlagen bedienen und einfache Einstellungen vornehmen
- Werkstuecke messen, pruefen und Qualitaetsvorgaben einhalten
- Teile montieren und einfache Baugruppen zusammenbauen
- Arbeitsablaeufe vorbereiten, Material bereitstellen und Ordnung/Sicherheit am Arbeitsplatz einhalten

- Schule: obligatorische Schule abgeschlossen; gute Grundlagen in Mathematik und Physik/Technik
- Handwerkliches Geschick und Freude an praktischer Arbeit mit Metall und Maschinen
- Sorgfaeltige, genaue Arbeitsweise und Sinn fuer Qualitaet
- Gutes raeumliches Vorstellungsvermoegen
- Zuverlaessigkeit, Teamfaehigkeit und Ausdauer
- Bereitschaft, Sicherheits- und Arbeitsschutzregeln konsequent einzuhalten

Nach der Lehre als Mechanikpraktiker/in EBA hast du folgende Moeglichkeiten:
- Verkuerzte Zusatzlehre: Polymechaniker/in EFZ oder Produktionsmechaniker/in EFZ (je nach Betrieb/Leistungen)
- Berufspruefung (BP): z.B. Prozessfachmann/-frau, Instandhaltungsfachmann/-frau, Produktionsfachmann/-frau
- Hoehere Fachpruefung (HFP): z.B. dipl. Industriemeister/in, dipl. Produktionsleiter/in (je nach Ausrichtung)
- Hoehere Fachschule (HF): z.B. Techniker/in HF Maschinenbau oder Produktionstechnik
- Fachhochschule (FH): z.B. Bachelor in Maschinentechnik (meist mit Berufsmaturitaet oder via Passerelle/entsprechenden Voraussetzungen)
